Futures Prop Firm FAQ
Answers about the STRIKE plan: trailing drawdown, contract limits, payouts, platforms, market data, billing and account rules at Strike Funded.
Getting Started
What is Strike Funded?
Strike Funded is a futures prop trading firm. We evaluate disciplined traders on a simulated account and, once you pass, move you to a simulated funded account. No personal funds are ever placed at risk — you keep a share of the profits generated during simulated trading, paid out from Strike Funded's own funds.
How does the process work?
Three steps: (1) Purchase an evaluation for your chosen account size. (2) Trade and hit the profit target while respecting the trailing drawdown rule. (3) Once passed and KYC-verified, activate your funded account and start requesting payouts.
Is there a monthly fee after I get funded?
No. The evaluation fee is billed monthly only while you're still in the evaluation — it stops automatically the moment you pass (or if you breach). Once funded, there's no recurring charge at all. Activating your funded account may involve a separate one-time activation fee (see "What is the activation fee?" below) — that's the only additional charge.
How does billing work for the evaluation?
Evaluations are billed monthly, not as a single one-time charge — you're charged the plan's evaluation fee every month you're still working on it. Billing stops automatically the moment you pass or breach, or you can cancel anytime from My Accounts. There's no long-term commitment.
Which markets can I trade?
We currently support futures markets available on our execution platform: ES, NQ, RTY, YM, CL, GC, 6E, ZB and more. Micro contracts (MES, MNQ, M2K, MYM, MCL, MGC) are also available depending on your account size.
Which platforms are supported?
Your Strike Funded accounts run on Rithmic. With the single trading login in your dashboard (Platform Setup) you can connect from R | Trader Pro and Quantower — one login loads every one of your evaluation and funded accounts, and you choose the account inside the platform. Each platform has a step-by-step guide on the Platform Setup page. Level 1 market data (top of book) is included in every account you buy from Strike Funded — you do not pay for it separately. Level 2 (market depth) is not included. Platform licenses, where a platform charges for them, are your own cost.
Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes. You can hold multiple evaluation and funded accounts simultaneously. Each is evaluated and funded independently, at the price shown for that plan on the pricing page.
Where can I check if the platform is working?
Our live system status page shows whether the website, the platform API and the trading & risk engine are running, with their recent history: https://stats.uptimerobot.com/L4M5BggWAY . Short maintenance windows at our execution partner (weekdays, about 5:20 to 5:45 PM ET) are normal. If the page is green and something still looks wrong, open a ticket from your dashboard.
How fast does support answer?
Our support assistant replies to every ticket first, and our team can take over at any time. Every request gets a response within 48 business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding US holidays) — usually much sooner. Urgent trading or platform issues are prioritised, and our team is available during US market hours. Open a ticket from Support in your dashboard or write to the support address in the footer.
Which market data option do I select: Professional or Non-Professional?
The first time you sign in to R | Trader Pro, the exchanges (CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX) ask you to accept a market data agreement and to choose between Non-Professional and Professional. This is done only in R | Trader Pro, so sign in there first, even if you plan to trade from another platform such as Quantower. At Strike Funded you must select Non-Professional. Your accounts are simulated, and the market data is for your own personal use only: you must not share it, redistribute it or use it for any business. Do not choose Professional: Professional subscriptions are charged at a much higher monthly fee and are not part of a Strike Funded login. The only exception: if you are registered or qualified with a securities, futures or exchange authority, or you work for a financial institution or advisory business and would use this data in that work, do not accept the agreement yet. Open a support ticket first and wait for our answer. Read the agreement before you sign and answer its questions truthfully; if you are unsure about the definitions, ask the exchange (CME Group Market Data) or Rithmic.
Is Level 2 (market depth) included?
Your account includes Level 1 (top of book) market data: best bid and ask, last price and volume — everything you need for charts, indicators and order entry. Level 2 (market depth, the full order book behind the best bid and ask) is not included, so a DOM/ladder shows only the best bid and ask and depth heatmaps are not available. Footprint and volume tools that are built from executed trades depend on the platform; if you rely on one, test it before you buy.
The STRIKE Plan
What is the STRIKE plan?
STRIKE is our evaluation-to-funded program, sold in five account sizes — $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $150,000 and $250,000. Every size is a single-phase evaluation: hit the profit target while respecting the drawdown rule, and you can do it in as little as 1 trading day, and you're eligible to activate your funded account.
How does the trailing drawdown work?
Your drawdown floor tracks your highest-ever equity in real time, including open floating profit. It only ever moves up, never down — and once it reaches your original starting balance, it locks there permanently and stops rising any further, on both evaluation and funded accounts.
What account sizes and prices are available?
Five sizes — $25K, $50K, $100K, $150K and $250K — one evaluation per size, with a fixed profit target, drawdown, and activation fee. Exact current prices are listed on the pricing page and can change, so that page is always the source of truth.
Can I switch to a different plan after purchasing?
No. Once an evaluation is purchased, the account size is locked. If you want a different size, purchase a new evaluation. All sales are final — see our Refund Policy for full details.
What is the difference between Evaluation and Funded rules?
The trailing drawdown rule and your contract size are the same in both phases, and there is no daily loss limit in either — the drawdown rule is the only hard risk limit. What changes once you are funded is that you no longer have a profit target and you can request payouts.
Does my contract size change once I'm funded?
No. A funded account trades the same maximum size as the evaluation: 25K — 2 minis / 20 micros, 50K — 4 minis / 40 micros, 100K — 6 minis / 60 micros, 150K — 8 minis / 80 micros and 250K — 10 minis / 100 micros. There are no scaling levels.
Rules & Limits
How does trailing drawdown work?
Your drawdown floor tracks your highest-ever equity, updated in real time, including open floating profit. If you start at $25K with a $1,000 max drawdown, your floor begins at $24,000. If your equity rises to $26,000, the floor rises to $25,000 — the floor only ever moves up, never down, and once it reaches your original starting balance it locks there and stops rising any further.
Is there a daily loss limit?
No. Strike Funded doesn't use a separate daily loss limit, on either the evaluation or the funded account — the trailing drawdown rule above is the only hard risk limit.
Is there a consistency rule?
Not to pass the evaluation: you can reach the profit target in a single day (always within the drawdown and contract limits of your account size).
What is the minimum trading days requirement?
One trading day, on every account size — you can even pass in a single day. A trading day counts if you open and close at least one position that day. There's no requirement to trade every day.
Is there a maximum contracts limit?
Yes — every account size has a contract cap, the same in the evaluation and when funded: 25K — 2 minis / 20 micros, 50K — 4 minis / 40 micros, 100K — 6 minis / 60 micros, 150K — 8 minis / 80 micros and 250K — 10 minis / 100 micros (micros are always 10 per mini).
What You Can & Cannot Do
What is Free Copy Trading with Quantower and how do I set it up?
Quantower includes a Copy Trading module (the "CTr" button in the Trading section) that is free to use. You trade in one master account and Quantower mirrors your orders to the other accounts you choose — up to 20 of your Strike Funded accounts. Set-up: (1) connect your Strike Funded login in Quantower, all your accounts appear under it; (2) open Copy Trading and click + to create a bot; (3) pick the parent connection and parent account (your master), then add each child account with a quantity mode, for example a multiplier of 1.00 or a different multiplier to match the account size; (4) if the master trades NQ and a child should trade MNQ, use the custom symbol mapping; (5) save and press Start — the log shows every copied order and you can Stop the bot at any time. Rules: copy only between your own accounts, never to or from another trader's account. Every account keeps its own drawdown, daily loss and contract limits. Hedging (opposite positions) between funded accounts is not allowed, so copy in the same direction.
What trading styles are allowed?
Day trading, swing trading, scalping, algo/bot trading and trading around economic news releases are all permitted, subject to the drawdown and contract limits on your plan. Hedging between your Evaluation accounts is allowed. Hedging between your Funded accounts is NOT allowed: holding opposite positions at the same time in two funded accounts (for example long NQ in one and short NQ in another) is detected automatically, and it includes the related contracts NQ/MNQ, ES/MES and YM/MYM, also across them (buying ES and selling NQ, selling ES and buying YM). You are notified by e-mail the moment it is detected, and repeated violations can lead to severe sanctions, including the removal of your accounts and a ban from the Strike Funded platform.
Can I use Expert Advisors (EAs) or bots?
Yes. Automated trading systems including EAs and third-party algos are permitted on our execution platform. The account holder is fully responsible for ensuring the algorithm respects all drawdown and position limits.
How many accounts can I have, and can I use a copier between them?
You may buy as many evaluation accounts as you like (several in one order, and as many orders as you want — one login shows all of them) and hold several funded accounts at the same time. The maximum number of funded accounts per trader is shown on the Buy page and in your dashboard. A trade copier (whether a third-party tool or a future Strike Funded copier) may only mirror trades across your own accounts. Copying trades from or to another trader's account is prohibited and treated as coordinated account abuse.
What happens if I have an open position at the end of the trading day?
All positions must be closed before 4:55 PM ET, five minutes ahead of the 5:00 PM ET close of the trading day. This is the End-of-Day Rule and it applies to evaluation and funded accounts. Strike Funded does not close positions for you, and an account that still holds a position after 4:55 PM ET is closed like any other breach — we email you exactly what happened. Set an alarm for 4:45 PM ET and flatten everything, including working orders.
What will get my account closed immediately?
Account termination triggers: (1) Exceeding the max drawdown. (2) Using third-party purchased credentials. (3) Coordinated group trading to exploit the evaluation, including copying trades to or from another trader's account. (4) Providing false identity or payment information.
Is account sharing or selling allowed?
No. Accounts may only be traded by the registered account holder. Sharing login credentials or selling access to your funded account will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of any pending payouts.
Payouts
How do I request a payout?
Complete identity verification (KYC) in your profile settings first — it's required before your first payout request. Then, from your dashboard, go to Payouts, enter the amount, and submit. Our finance team reviews each request before it's transferred.
What is the profit split?
Every payout splits 90/10 in your favor: you keep 90% and Strike Funded retains 10% to cover operational costs and risk management.
What payment methods are supported?
Bank Transfer (ACH) for US-based traders, and Wise for everywhere else. Save your payout destination in your profile settings; our finance team reads it from there and sends transfers manually — payment details must match the name on your Strike Funded account.
Is there a minimum or maximum payout amount?
You can only withdraw profits — never the funded account's starting balance. After any payout your balance must stay at or above your starting balance + the account's maximum drawdown + $100 (the Safety Net). The minimum payout request is $500 on every account size. The first payout of each account is $500 (up to $10,000 across all your accounts); after that, the maximum per request depends on the account size: $500 on 25K, $1,000 on 50K, $1,500 on 100K, $2,000 on 150K and $2,500 on 250K. Each payout cycle needs at least 10 trading days, and at least 5 of them (not necessarily consecutive) must close with $250 or more of net profit after fees — if you request without them, the request is denied and the cycle restarts. On funded accounts the consistency rule also applies: no single trading day may be more than 30% of your total profit since your last paid payout. It never closes your account — if you request while your best day is above 30%, the request is denied (you get an e-mail with the numbers) and you keep trading 10 more trading days before requesting again (for example, a best day of $1,000 needs a total profit of $3,333.34). Larger payouts may require additional identity verification before approval.
What happens to my account after a payout?
Your account continues trading normally after a payout. A payout does not reset or move your drawdown floor or contract limits.
Account Management
What happens if I breach my evaluation?
Your evaluation account is closed and all open positions are flattened automatically. Any breached account — evaluation or funded — is permanent and cannot be reset. To keep trading with Strike Funded, purchase a new evaluation.
What happens if I breach my funded account?
The breach is final. A funded account cannot be reset once breached — any profits already paid out to you remain yours, but the account itself is closed permanently. To keep trading with Strike Funded, purchase a new evaluation.
How do I track my drawdown?
Your dashboard shows your current equity and drawdown floor in real time.
What is the activation fee?
A one-time fee, charged when you pass your evaluation and activate your funded account. The exact amount depends on your account size and is shown on the pricing page before you buy.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final: evaluation fees, renewal charges and activation fees are non-refundable and purchases cannot be canceled once paid. The only exception is a billing error on our side (for example, being charged twice for the same purchase) — open a support ticket and we will correct it. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Is a monthly renewal charge refundable?
No. Evaluation fees bill monthly until you pass, breach, or cancel. Renewal charges are non-refundable — it's your responsibility to cancel from My Accounts before your next billing date if you no longer want to continue. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that has already gone through.
Will I ever trade a real, live-money account?
Not automatically. All Strike Funded evaluation and funded accounts are simulated — no real capital is at risk and no live market execution occurs. An invitation to a live account is entirely at Strike Funded's discretion, made on a case-by-case basis subject to compliance review, and can happen at any time — it is never guaranteed by passing an evaluation.
